-Installation of solar panels shall only be permitted on the rear roof of the home and must not extend past the roofline.
-Panels and equipment must be flush-mounted and should be darker in color to match the existing roof requirement.
-The installation of solar panels must obtain any permit requirements and be installed according to all city, state, and federal codes.
-Installation shall only be permitted if the rooftop is not directly visible from the public right-of-way (along South 9th St and Albany Street).
-Ground mounted solar panels are prohibited.
These regulations are not intended to dissuade the installation of solar panels, rather they are meant to maintain property values and protect the aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood.
The Charleston 2022 Fall Neighborhood Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 8am to 3pm. Signs will be posted.
The application by the Charleston HOA to become a “No Soliciting” neighborhood has been approved by the City of Broken Arrow. Signs will be posted at both entrances.
The tentative date for the 2023 Charleston Homeowners Association Annual Meeting will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 6:30 pm. Meeting will be held at the BA United Pentecostal Church located at 1730 N 9th St, Broken Arrow, OK.
If the weather causes school cancellations on the tentative date of February 16, 2023, the meeting will also be cancelled and rescheduled.
