The Charleston Board of Directors apologizes for the late notice of the Block Party cancellation.
The board was monitoring the weather conditions, and with the threat of inclement weather, the safety of the residents was the primary concern.
As it turned out, the forecast was accurate, but the front did not arrive until 8 pm. We have looked at other dates, but with winter approaching, none are feasible at this time.
We are planning for the 2018 event for late September or early October.
The Spring Charleston Neighborhood Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday May 12, 2018, 8am-3pm.
The Charleston Homeowners Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6:30 pm.
Meeting will be held at the BA United Pentecostal Church located at 1730 N 9th St, Broken Arrow, OK.
If you are concerned about the traffic congestion during school hours, please contact the City of Broken Arrow’s Action Center at 918-258-3587.
We need to call the city to complain about the student drop-off and pick-up traffic in our neighborhood. It is creating a safety hazard at the east end of Uniontown St. and Wichita Ct.
If there were an emergency, if would be difficult to get an ambulance or fire truck to those houses.
